Put your first tool on the internet.
A one-page tool, live at a link anyone can open. You start from a Today card, ask your named AI to change it, and put it on a free static host.

Not yet checked, read this first
Nobody has run this rung end to end. The hosting steps (Netlify Drop and GitHub Pages) were read from search summaries on 14 October 2026 and never checked live, so a screen on your side may not match. The full list is under Not yet checked. If something does not match, tell us with the form at the end.
What you will have at the end
A one-page tool, live at a link anyone can open. The starter is a “Today card”: you type your three things for the day, tick them off, and print the page. It is the page version of your rung 2 morning brief.
The starter is one file with no installs and no outside scripts, fonts or trackers, and it works opened from your computer.
Step 1: open the starter
Double-click index.html. It opens in your browser. Type in the three boxes, tick one, reload. Your words stay for the day; a new day starts a fresh list. They are saved only in this browser on this device.
Step 2: ask your named AI to change it
Open the file in a text editor, copy everything, and paste it into a chat with your AI, under this message. Replace NAME with the name you gave it, and fill the brackets.
You are NAME. Below is a one-file web page, a "Today card". Please change it for me: 1. Change the title and heading to: [YOUR TITLE] 2. Set my AI's name in the script to: NAME 3. Change the accent colour to: [YOUR COLOUR] 4. [ONE SMALL CHANGE YOU WANT, for example "make it five things, not three"] Rules: keep it one single file. No outside scripts, fonts, images or network calls. Do not add anything that collects data. Give me back the whole file in one code block, then tell me in three short lines what you changed.
Save the answer over index.html (keep the name index.html). Open it again. If it is broken, tell your AI what you see and ask for the whole file again.
Step 3: put it on the internet
Not checked live. Pick one host.
Netlify Drop
- 1Put index.html alone in a new folder.
- 2Go to app.netlify.com/drop and drag the folder onto the page. You get a link. [1]
- 3Claim the site (sign up free, or log in) to keep it. Claim it soon: Netlify's blog says unclaimed sites are suspended and later deleted. [1]
- 4To change it later, drop a new folder on your site's page. [1]
GitHub Pages
Step 4: share the link and show it
Open your link on your phone. Send it to one person. Then show your result: a screenshot of your page, or the link itself. That is the “shown result” for this rung.
Keep it safe
- Your page is public. Anyone with the link can read it.
- Never put a password, a key, an account number or anything private in the page or the file.
- The Today card saves only in your own browser. It sends nothing anywhere.
Not yet checked
The hosting steps were read from search summaries on 14 October 2026; the pages themselves could not be fetched. These are still open:
- Nobody has run these steps end to end yet. Someone signed in to a host should do so before this goes out.
- Netlify: how long an unclaimed drop lasts. Sources disagree (one hour in newer reports, 24 hours in an older guide). Check the screen. Also not checked: file size limits, the exact current wording on the Drop page.
- GitHub Pages: the exact Settings labels today, how long publishing takes, and the link format.
- That the page works in every browser. It was written, not tested on devices.
- Any price, plan limit or fee beyond “free to start”. Hosts change terms.
Product screens change. If a label on your screen does not match this page, tell us with the form below and the page gets fixed.
Show your result
Send a screenshot of your page, or the link itself. What people make decides what gets written next.

Rung 4: Keep it going →
The next session knows what the last one did. This rung is Succession, the free Claude Code plugin, with a plain guide.
From the maintainer of The Continuity Layer. Free. No sign-up.
Not claimed: that the starter looks like or matches The Press; that an unclaimed Netlify drop lasts any set time; the exact GitHub Pages Settings labels, publishing time or link format; that the page works in every browser; any price, plan limit or fee beyond “free to start”; that anyone has run these steps end to end.
